The Courses
Welcome to the UK Short Burst Sessions. These courses are designed to give your kitesurfing a kick start for an upcoming kitesurfing holiday or from the dreaded plateau we go through from time to time. With Jo’s enthusiastic coaching approach you’ll take home the building blocks for the next set of tricks that should be in your repertoire.
These sessions are run from my home ground so that I can take you to uncrowded yet phenomenal beaches and it also allows me to offer flexibility according the wind to ensure you gain the most from your session.

Rustic Freestyle
Minimum level required – competent ability to stay upwind
Moves covered on course – first jumps, pop, rotations, grabs, raileys N.B. All moves are hooked in.
Upper Freestyle
Minimum level required – front loops, back loops, raileys
Moves covered on course – kite loops, first time unhooking, unhooked rotations, unhooked raileys, surface handle passes, unhooked kite loops, moves to blind.
Rustic Wave
Minimum level required – competent ability to stay upwind on a twin tip
Skills covered on course – riding a waveboard, staying upwind heel side and toeside, learning gybes.
Upper Wave
Minimum level required – competent ability to ride upwind and gybe the board
Skills covered on course – choosing waves, how to catch them & linking turns
